I got two praying mantis egg cases today. I can't wait until they "hatch"! Our yard has an aphid problem and tons of earwigs. I tried ladybugs, but they wouldn't stay, so I'll try this and see what happens. I hope we get to see the baby mantises! I hung one in the dogwood tree (which was covered in aphids last year) and one in one of our rhododendron bushes (also infested).

Finally! The garden's blooming!

The garden is full of color color color this year.


Next year everything will be settled in so it will look less planned out and more wild and beautiful!
